COVID19 Risk Assessment and Safeguarding
Changes to Practise
We have made significant changes to the way we practise in order to protect our patients, our staff and our community. A full version of our Risk Assessment and Safeguarding Policy is available to download and read.
The main points of interest have been summarised below.
An in-person appointment requires us to be within 2 metres of each other, and so PPE will be used by both of us during your appointment. You will be asked to wear a face-covering, if you do not bring you own, one will be provided for you. Kathryn will be following the guidance from Public Health England and using a mask, goggles, gloves and apron.
Towels are no longer being used in the clinic, if you would like to be covered with a towel during your appointment, please bring your own.
Prior to all appointments, Kathryn will contact you by phone in order to make sure that you are suitable for an in-person appointment. This call will either be the day before or on the day of your appointment. It will include screening for Covid19 symptoms and possible contacts with Covid19 symptoms. At this point I will also conduct the case history part of your consultation. All of this is to minimise the time we spend face to face.
We will not be accepting cash as a payment method until further notice. Please bring a payment card with you.
